Nicaragua

Granada is the oldest city in Central America.  It was founded in 1524 and it still keeps its old colonial architecture. Granada is located 27 miles (45 km) from Managua on the north shores of Lake Nicaragua.  This is the biggest lake in Central America and you can find fresh water sharks. The main highway from Managua-Granada is a scenic route. Granada is a perfect gateway to enjoy nature. Canopy, adventure, history, culture, kayaking, an active volcano even at night, shopping at the city of Masaya and much more.

The city of Masaya features a unique market which offers the best value and most unusual crafts and souvenirs. A leather lady’s wallet, a beautiful embroidered dress or shirt, wood carved items, music, books, and belts to name a few. Ashtrays, ceramics, Indian designed art, pipes, kitchen items among other hundreds of objects and food you can find as well.
